Gulf Atlantic Pump & Dredge, LLC continues to manufacturer and improve upon the H&H line of maintenance class dredges. The "MUDLOADER" line of dredges has a long history of service for lagoon, canal, and industrial dredging services. Pontoons: Our pontoons currently manufactured are 36" x 36" x (appropriate length) using 10 gauge steel, in a box beam design with sealed compartments on each end. This change in design has resulted in a more stable working platform with a minimum of 12" of freeboard. Pontoons are coated using a Bar Rust 235 two part epoxy primer, with a DEVTHANE epoxy finish coat, followed by a Cold Tar epoxy coating applied to all submersed areas.

Cutterhead: GAPD currently manufacturers our heavy weight cutterhead is 24" in diameter with 1/4" flyting  for mounting  Ditch Witch cutting teeth. The cutterhead is powered by a POCLAIN direct drive hydraulic motor producing 16,000 in/lbs of torque along the cutting surface.

Controls: GAPD has implemented an electro/hydraulic joystick control system for operation, resulting in an easier platform for operation. This system is also backed up by a secondary manual valve bank located on the power unit skid, resulting in limited down time if joystick controls every fail.

Traverse Systems Offered: GAPD currently places our windlass winch traverse system on all dredges manufactured, however three and four winch traverse systems are available upon customer request.

Discharge Piping: GAPD currently offers a full line of 4", 6", 8", 10", and 12" discharge piping configurations using ring-lock coupling systems as well as a full line of floatation devices to meet your needs. Gulf Atlantic Pump & Dredge, LLC has continued with the manufacturer of our remote controlled line of maintenance dredges. These dredges are very useful and very productive in very tight areas, such as small marinas and tributaries where overall draft is a problem. This line of dredge is also used on lagoons where EPA requirements limit the access to personnel due to materials contained within the body of water. Umbilical and/or radio controls are available based on application and customer requirements.
